Concord enables users to choose whether they would like to include an “abbreviated” or “full” attribution after passages that are copied and pasted from Concord.

An abbreviated attribution includes: abbreviated book title, chapter/page, verse/line.

E.g. (SH 2:23–24)

(Mis. 79:15–17)

(Gen. 1:27)

A full attribution includes: complete book title, author, chapter/page, verse/line.

E.g. (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 2:23–24)

(Miscellaneous Writings 1883–1896, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 79:15–17)

(Genesis 1:27)

By default, full attributions will be included after passages copied and pasted from Concord (whether customers are using Concord on a computer, tablet, or smartphone). This will remain as the default until a user makes an alternate selection.

Users can change this default setting (and toggle between them) by following these steps:

1. Log in to your Concord account.

2. On desktop or tablet, click/tap on the “Settings” gear icon located in the gray bar at the top of the program. On a smartphone, tap “More” in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

3. Select “Copy/Paste.”

4. Choose “Attribution.”

5. Then select “Abbreviated” to use the abbreviated attributions. Repeat these steps and select “Full” to use full attributions.
