Using "Show My Citations in Books"

You can use the “Show My Citations in Books” setting to show which citations you’ve added to lists. As a result, you are also able to see which lists you’ve added the citation to.

First, check to see if “Show My Citations in Books” is turned on.

  1. Go to your settings.

  1. Click on List Preferences.

  1. Enable “Show My Citations in Books”.

How to check and see if you’ve used a citation in a list.

  1. Navigate to a citation in the Read Panel. If it is underlined then it has been added to a list.

  2. Click on the highlighter icon at the very beginning of the underlined text.

  1. A window will pop up showing you which list this citation is in.

  1. If you’ve added this citation to multiple lists you’ll notice a number next to the highlighter icon. In the screenshot below, you’ll notice the number 2.

  1. When you click on the highlighter you’ll see which lists you’ve added the citation to.
