Pinning Menu Options

You can now customize your citation and list menus using the pin feature. Menu items you choose not to pin will still be available, but will require an additional navigation click.

On the citation level, 3-dot menus in the Study Tools and Read Panel will default to pinning the Add to Recent List options. To unpin this menu option or to pin additional settings follow the steps below.

  1. Click on a 3-dot menu in either the Study Tools or Read Panel.

  1. If this is your first time customizing the 3-dot menu then Add to Recent List and its corresponding options will be pinned.

  1. You can pin other menu options that have an arrow next to them. In this example, we will pin “Copy Selected” options. Click on the arrow.

  1. To the right of the option’s header click on the pin icon.

  1. You’ll notice that it is now pinned open when you click on the 3-dot menu.

  1. To remove a pin, click on it the pin to the right of the header.

  1. Your 3-dot menu will now look this.

 

You can also customize the 3-dot menu in the Lists Panel and the Lists Manager menu.

  1. Open the menu.

  1. Look for the options that contain an arrow next to them. This “>” signifies that there are additional options to choose from.

  1. Open one of those options and then click on the pin on the right side of the option header.

  1. Your pinned menu option will now appear.
